How to Add an Inventory Item in World Ledgers

New products are created under Items, not the Inventory stock-view screen.

Steps

1. Open Items → Items.
2. Click Add New Item.
3. Set Item Type (e.g. GOOD), Item Name, Category and Department.
4. Enter opening quantities: Main Store, Counter, Factory as applicable, plus Reorder Level and Unit of Measure.
5. Set Cost and Price (optional discount/commission).
6. Click Save Changes.
